I’ve started doing the artwork for Dingo Games’ next game, ‘Tasty Planet 2’ (“real” name to be revealed later). I’m trying out some different styles. Making a game from a top-down view is always a challenge. Thought I would share some roughs and concept pieces.

Hi Kris,
Just thought i’d come on over and invade your blog too, hehe. I must admit, I am really liking your artwork, very impressed.
Its not often I post on an artists blog/website as i usually get lost in a swirling mass of wiered paintings that look like they have had a bucket of paint thrown at them were the middle has been massicred by the idea that the imprint of the artist naked butt cheaks are the final touch. I dont get that. Anyways, I like your work.
Cheers,
-Andy
hi Kris,i am wondering when tasty planet 2 will be released.
I cant wait to see what kind of level art work you have prepared. I`d also like to see what levels you have prepared for everyone.
good luck

Bryan, we hope to have Tasty Planet 2 out for both Mac and PC this summer! I know that is somewhat vague, but if everything goes to plan, we should release it (well before) September. Within the game industry, release dates change all the time – everyone at Dingo Games is working very hard to meet our deadline!
Thanks for the luck!
hi again kris. this is your old pal bryan.
i`m wondering what time zones you have prepared. i hope one of them is the dino era.
i am also wondering what name you are going to pick. or should i say picnic.
since last game you had picnic table as a level
from once again,bryan
One of time zones IS “the dino era” (the level is based on dinosaurs and vegetation in North America during the Late Cretaceous)
We’re not entirely sure what we’re going to name it yet; over on the Dingo Games/my husband’s blog we are asking people for ideas! So if you have an idea for a title we should pic(nic), please feel free to post!
i already had entered 12 names for tasty planet 2.
half of witch is a play on words from different games.
for exampale: tasty planet:the thousand year vore(just for example)
good luck kris
