Since the last time I posted on this blog/outdated website, I’ve uploaded a bunch of comics – all available to read on wealdcomics.com! There’s two stories featuring the spoon-swinging heroine Tatterhood – Trolls and a ‘newly’ shaded rendition of Ch.9 from Tatterhood - plus some Sidequests and personal autobiographical comics too… along with the colourful family-friendly goat story Gruff and not-so-friendly scuba horror tale Low Viz (new pages being uploaded every Wednesday). Dig in and enjoy!

…it would appear I only make posts when cons come around…
This weekend, it’s VanCAF! Everyone should come out – it’s free, it’s fun, it’s filled with comic-goodness! I’ll have copies of Weald and Nameless, along with The Corpse Door (Version 3 – you can read an animated version of it online), Fears Still Festering (a compilation of short tales, including those published in Pulp Literature), and free Face Kitten mini-mini-comics! It’ll also be the launch of Mega Fauna, an all-age comic anthology by Cloudscape Comics (I have a goat comic in there. Of course it’s goats). Check it out this Sat and Sun at 181 Roundhouse Mews in Vancouver.
…why exactly do I have this site/blog, I never update it…
This weekend, I’ll be at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, where I’ll have THIS:
The first chapter of my story, brought to you by the first issue of Weald Comics! You can grab it at TCAF or VanCAF, or read it for FREE over on Weald! Where there are lots of other really great free comics!
…really need to redo all this…hmmm
Still working on getting my site together – you’ll notice that practically none of the lovely navigation links are working, and a lot of old pages (i.e. the gallery) have simply…disappeared.
My final (and favorite) piece for the Vancouver Comic Jam Art Show! This is just a snippet of it – the full panel has some gore and a bit of nudity in it, so be warned; this is not one for the kids or the nanas of the world. It shows Tatterhood fighting a variety of (mean) trolls (and while not all trolls are mean or evil, these ones most definitely are). The full image can be seen here, and the process of the piece can be seen here. This is a scene that could hypothetically be in my hypothetical graphic novel should I ever hypothetically get working on it.
The show is still on at The Wallflower and for those unable to attend, I’m continuing to update my list/links of other artists’ panels.
At this point and time, my site is now going to be on hiatus as I redesign (yay!) and reprogram (aargh) everything, so hopefully I’ll be back in a few months. In the meantime, I will still be creating, crafting, costuming and comicing, elsewhere on the web. In fact, you can find me on…
I will likely sneak back in if there’s any important game news to write about. And true, while I have been quite absent before for long periods of time, at least this time its planned!
